SAT
It is the entrance exam and SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) score is used by the most universities and colleges for making admission decisions. The SAT is a paper and pencil test designed and conducted by the College Board.

The Ultimate goal of SAT is to test a high school students’ readiness for joining Colleges or Universities along with a common data which is used to make a comparison of all applicants. In addition, the admission officers of colleges view test scores of SAT alongside candidate’s high
school GPA. Furthermore, recommendation of teachers, interviews of admission officers, personal essays are important while admitting at Colleges or Universities. The admission of application varies from College to University even in SAT scores. The SAT is required for the
scholarships while studying in USA.

FORMAT OF SAT
There are two sections in the SAT
 Math
 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing

SAT Essay scores are conveyed disjointedly from the overall scores. Since some colleges may
ask to complete the SAT Essay. It takes 3 hours to finish this test in the exam however, if you take an essay writing test then it occupies 3 hours 50 minutes.

SCORRING
How is the SAT scored?
Each section of SAT is scored on a 200 to 800 point scale. The total SAT score is the sum of each section. The highest score is 1600 in SAT. The essay score is reported separately.
